OTI Lumionics Selects Nord Quantique to Test New Quantum Computing Applications for Materials Science

OTI Lumionics and Nord Quantique have partnered to explore new quantum computing applications in materials science, investing $5 million CAD. The collaboration aims to enhance electronic structure calculations, vibronic spectra, and ab initio molecular dynamics using quantum simulations. Nord Quantique’s advanced quantum error correction technology is expected to accelerate the development of new materials for semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and other industries. This partnership is supported by a $2 million CAD grant from NGen to further their research and development efforts.
